The bean and the clouds
In this chapter
The coin buys a magic bean, the beanstalk grows to the clouds, the sinking clouds are climbed, and the winch handle opens Zaks' portcullis.
In Castle Street's west stretch, drop the gold coin at the shopkeeper's counter: he takes it and throws back a magic green bean (The shopkeeper on Castle Street).

Through Bridge Street's west end and the graveyard to the grasslands' high path, where Shamus used to stand. Drop the bean on the bare earth: a beanstalk grows high into the sky (A patch of earth that wants something planted).
At the top, soft white clouds sink under a Dizzy who stands still. Keep moving: left and up the low clouds, along the long clouds near the top to the right, and up to the highest cloud on the far right; one more star sits just above it. From there a jump straight up reaches the castle's own clouds (The clouds give way).
Zaks' cloud castle is shut behind a portcullis. Drop the winch handle at the winch by the gate: the portcullis winds down and the door opens (The portcullis of Zaks' castle).
Inside, the castle's lower level is cut in two by a fire, and its lift is locked. For now, the stars on this side, then back down: walking off the clouds' left side drops Dizzy back onto the grasslands.
