Pick up the can of snappy weed killer from the ground floor and take it up the elevator. On the first floor, walk up to the plant and drop the can (B) just before it. The plant withers away for good.
Why it works
The can's routine checks for one place: the plant's. Used anywhere else, it's simply dropped.
