The minecart
At the far left of the railway level's upper corridor, a minecart waits on the old track. Where does it go?

It goes to four different places, depending on the way you steer at the junctions (left or right), and twenty stars lie along the track.
Nudge 2A stronger push
Up and down change the cart's speed; rocks and other carts are deadly. An exit only opens at the very end of a branch.

Walk left into the cart. On the ride, steer with left and right at each junction and use up and down to slow down or catch up. The four ends of the line lead to: the railway level itself, Carber Bay's far beach, the grasslands (east of the pond), and the walled-in chamber at the far end of Bridge Street (A walled-in chamber at the end of Bridge Street). The cart can be ridden again as often as you like: take all twenty stars on the way (they count towards the 250).
